My Grandpa

Saturday evening my grandpa went home to be with the Lord. He was 82 years old when he passed away. He leaves his wife of 61 yrs, one daughter, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

His viewing will be on Tuesday, July 31st at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home from 1-9. His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. I would really appreciate your prayers since this is the first time that me or my children have had someone close to us pass away.

All my kids absolutely love to swim. The last few Mondays we have gone swimming with friends. Here are some fun times with friends.

Up North Fun

We spent the week of the 4th of July up at Mitchell's family's cabin. We had a great, relaxing time. Apart from Austin stepping on a wasp, swinging back into a tree, and swinging out on a rope and having the rope get caught between his legs it was a fairly uneventful week.

Baseball State Finals

I feel so bad about being so behind in blogging but here are some pictures from the boys "State Baseball Finals". They made a great run all the way to finals but fell a little short. We were so proud of them. Congratulations for a GREAT season.
